Jordan Ames

CEO/Founder and Leadership Coach

Jordan is a proven leader, manager, and executive advisor in the infantry and special operations communities. He is a member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team as a coach, speaker, and trainer.  He also serves voluntarily as a project manager for a mission in Uganda to counter the effects of human trafficking.

Jordan retired from the US Marine Corps after 21 years of active service, of which 15 of those years he served in official leadership roles.  He can frame the problem, analyze possible solutions, develop a plan, and execute the plan to accomplish strategic results. He can direct, lead, and supervise a team of top performers against complex problems in an austere, stressful environment. He has consulted with seven different foreign military organizations in six different countries to improve their operational readiness and strengthen their partnership with the United States with definitive results.

Jordan’s career is highlighted by his prestigious service as a presidential security guard assigned to the Presidential Retreat, Camp David and his service in the Marine Corps’ most elite units as a Force Reconnaissance Marine, Marine Special Operator, and Special Operations Officer (Marine Raider) where he served as a Marine Special Operations Team (MSOT) Commander. Jordan was the first enlisted Marine Special Operator (now known as Critical Skills Operators) to become an officer and return to the Marine Raider community as a Special Operations Officer. In addition to training and advising foreign forces, he also conducted direct-action (DA) raids against enemy targets and numerous special reconnaissance (SR) missions in hostile environments.  As a special operator, Jordan was a qualified Marine combatant diver, military freefall parachutist, and helicopter rope suspension training (HRST) master. In all his high-risk training, combat missions, and partnerships with foreign military units, Jordan has leaned on his faith through his relationship with Christ to guide and direct his leadership, relationships, and the day-to-day uncertainty that comes from operating in austere and hostile environments.

Jordan is married to his beautiful wife, Sarah, and they have seven children:  Sammy (23), Benji (22), Joseph (20), Crystal, (18), Brea (16), Amanda (15), and Natalie (7).  He holds a BA in History from Penn State University and an MA in History from Millersville University.
